Altrusa International is an International organization of business executives and professionals  who volunteer their time and energies to carry out projects in their community.

Membership is extended by invitation, to executives and professionals, women and men, who are of good character, are recognized as outstanding in their business or profession and who subscribe to the principles and purposes of Altrusa International.

Our main purpose is Literacy with all 11,470 Altrusans working together throughout the U.S. and 12 countries to give each and anyone the opportunity to learn to read.

The Tampa Bay Chapter has a history of 35 years of support for the Judea-Christian Health Clinic, local Assisted Living Facilities and an ongoing diaper drive for PARC.
